I was initially hesitant to invest in another 50mm f/1.2 given that I already own the pretty amazing Nikon 50mm f/1.2 AI but the price was compelling so I went for it. I'm glad I did as this lens has proven itself to be tremendously versatile. It's not as sharp as the Nikon but it focuses closer, is smaller and lighter, and can narrow down all the way to f/22. All of these features make the lens very capable as an all around shooter and in some ways the better lens overall - if resolution isn't a concern. I got mine for a good price but still well outside what I normally prefer to pay for vintage lenses.
